Goliarda Sapienza as a model of feminine assemblage

Conference seminar on the occasion of the International Day against Violence Against Women. January 20th 2026 at the School of Philosophy, University of Athens (ΕΚΠΑ) a joint event with Art Graffiti in the City (AGC) and Sapienza University Rome.

The AGC team with collaborators: University of Athens School of Philosophy, Sapienza University Rome — Laboratorio Studio Neogreci Mirsini Zorba, and graffiti artist Nique who showcased her art of the Sicilian actress-writer Gorlianda Sapienza as part of this event. The strong features of Saoienza gazing towards her onlookers, her birthplace of Sicily, vibrant green and the quote, “Joy is a revolution.”

This was a mirror event of the 2023 mural dedication to Kiki Demoula by Melina Koan, and related conference in Rome.
